We apply our mulches at a minimum of two inches thick to help prevent weeds and retain sufficient moisture for optimal plant health.  Over time mulch will naturally break down adding rich top-soil and nutrients to your soil and plants.  Mulch lasts approximately one year before it should be refreshed.
